In the early 1800s, Deer Park was a meadow where deer would come to feed. Within the neighbourhood, as well as nearby, there are plenty of green spaces to choose from. Take a walk through Rosehill Reservoir, one of Toronto’s prettiest green spaces. At the northern tip of Deer Park is Oriole Park, which includes Neshama Playground, a wading pool, and two tennis courts.
